Glen and Tracy Hill operate a fishing and processing business in Meningie, South Australia. They bring their daily catch home from the Coorong, one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in Australia. It is a family business and they also employ several local people.

The Coorong Fisherman only fish to order to ensure the produce is fresh. They ensure it gets to their customers at it's freshest and tastiest.

The business has been running since 1991 and they supply supermarkets, butchers, fish shops and hotels in the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, Murray Mallee and Southeast areas. They are now involved in promoting the region’s fish to the major tourist centres around the state and soon, interstate.

Coorong Mullet is the most reliable and popular fish from the region. They are easy to prepare and quick to cook, ideal for frying, grilling, barbecue, or steaming. They can be tossed in a seasoning, crumbed, battered, pickled, smoked or just as they are.

The mullet fillets are a finless, boneless butterfly and ready for most recipes. High in Omega 3 and value for money, Coorong Mullet are great for families and people of all ages.

Currently they attend the Barossa Farmers Market in Angaston on the First Saturday in the month.

Their product is also available from a number of supermarkets and seafood retail stores. Contact The Coorong Fisherman (email preferred) for your local outlet.
